000 – What the crap are we doing?!

Fall Sports

Soccer Boys Soccer had a strong season this year, just missed the playoffs. 4 teams from there region reached the playoffs they were #10 in the state. Close loss to Snowflake losing 3-2 after having a 2-0 lead in the 1st half. Lost 1-0 to Show Low. Split with Payson and St. Johns. Either one of those losses being wins would have put them in the state tournament.  – Looking at going independent next season to strengthen there schedule and give them some freedom.

Girls Soccer – they were young this year with mostly sophomores and Juniors and a few freshman. Had a tough season after being state qualifiers the last few years. Only 4 girls teams qualify for state because their are so few teams in Fall girls soccer. They finished 4-7-1 but ended the season beating SJ 1-0.

Volleyball – Volleyball had a strong season. 13-5 overall 12-2 in region and finished #2 in the region in the 2A North Regular Season. They swept St. Johns including a 3-0 win in St. Johns. They made it to the play-in Round of State with a #19 ranking, losing to Morenci 3-1.
